ChainCatcher news, Web3 player co-creation game startup Strider has completed a $5.5 million funding round, led by Makers Fund and Fabric Ventures, with participation from Shima Capital, Sfermion, Magic Eden, and several other funds. To date, the company's total funding has reached $8.5 million.Strider co-founder Andrew N. Green was a well-known partner at the venture capital firm a16z. They initially aimed to build a DAO governed by token holders for a story-driven gaming community, but later shifted back to the core of gaming.
