Walrus Protocol: Airdrop soul-bound NFTs to eligible users, which can be used to claim WAL tokens
ChainCatcher news, according to official sources, the Sui ecosystem's decentralized storage protocol Walrus Protocol has announced that eligible users have begun receiving the Walrus Airdrop NFT, which will grant users the right to obtain a certain amount of WAL tokens that will be redeemable through a claiming website upon the launch of the Walrus mainnet.This initial airdrop accounts for 4% of the total supply of 5 billion WAL tokens, with an additional 6% reserved for future community distribution. The airdrop is directly allocated to community members as a reward for meaningfully participating in the early stages of Walrus and the Sui ecosystem. The NFT is soulbound, meaning it cannot be traded or transferred to another wallet.
