Nym launches Shipyard Academy to promote privacy and protect people from surveillance
ChainCatcher news, the privacy infrastructure project Nym has announced the launch of the Shipyard Academy. The Shipyard Academy is a privacy learning program designed for those who wish to play a role in transforming the internet from a massive surveillance and control tool into a secure digital realm where privacy is the default.The six-week course will start on November 5, 2022, covering topics such as: how large-scale surveillance occurs at the network layer; how Nym addresses this issue; privacy concerns of many of today's most popular community applications; the acceptance of full-stack privacy awareness and why privacy is a core principle of Web3.The program consists of three phases over six weeks and is self-paced learning. At the end of each phase, participants' learning will be assessed through tasks and quizzes, with certain rewards given, and outstanding participants can advance to activities in the next phase. A total prize pool of up to 100,000 NYM will be distributed among top participants across the three phases.At the end of the program, participants will have the opportunity to apply to become Nym ambassadors, known as "Nymjas," after fully engaging with and contributing to the Nym community and mission.
