Asset management giant Schroders explores the functionality of tokenized investment tools with the Monetary Authority of Singapore
ChainCatcher news, British asset management giant Schroders is exploring the capabilities of Tokenized Investment Vehicles (TIV) with the Monetary Authority of Singapore, which supports the packaging and issuance of traditional investment securities. Schroders is participating in the Monetary Authority of Singapore's Project Guardian, which aims to test the feasibility of tokenized assets. Schroders will collaborate with the global fund network Calastone to explore the capabilities of Variable Capital Companies (VCC) tokenization tools.In August 2022, Schroders announced the acquisition of a minority stake in asset management company Forteus, which focuses on blockchain technology and digital assets, to explore the issuance of digital tokens to investors. In early February 2023, Schroders participated in the issuance of the first pound-denominated digital bond by the European Investment Bank. (Source link)
