According to ChainCatcher news, as reported by BitMEX Research citing the testimony of FTX co-founder Gary Wang, Gary Wang stated that the balance of the insurance fund disclosed by FTX was generated by a random number generator, that there were no FTT in the insurance fund, only digital dollars, and that the listed numbers did not match those in the database; in fact, they were calculated separately, and the real numbers were lower than the fake numbers.
