The law firm suing Pump.fun claims it is facing threats of violence and doxxing
ChainCatcher news, according to Protos, the law firm Burwick Law, which is embroiled in a legal dispute with the meme coin platform Pump.fun, revealed that its lawyers have received violent threats and have been doxxed along with several plaintiffs. The law firm stated: "We have learned that there has been a doxxing incident and violent threats against one of our lawyers and the New York State Bar Association, as well as attempts to impersonate and harass our plaintiffs, including doxxing. We take these intimidation tactics seriously and will pursue all available legal remedies."Additionally, Burwick Law denies creating the meme coin "DOGSHIT2" and demands that Pump.fun delist DOGSHIT2 and any other tokens impersonating the firm. It claims that Pump.fun has the technical capability to do so but chooses not to, "despite the obvious financial and legal risks to the public."Burwick Law has filed multiple lawsuits against Pump.fun on behalf of plaintiffs who have lost money due to various meme coins, including the HAWK token themed around Haliey Welch and the PNUT token themed around squirrels.
