ChainCatcher news, according to Bitcoin.com, the decentralized identity project Worldcoin has announced the launch of Orb verification (i.e., iris scanning) services in Guatemala, Poland, and Malaysia, along with the introduction of the Face Auth feature.Face Auth is a new feature in its World ID suite that allows other applications to verify whether the person using the ID is the same individual who was verified at a Worldcoin center using the orb device (iris scanning device). This process only uses information from the user's mobile phone, protecting user data privacy and preventing potential fraud that could occur due to device theft.

According to ChainCatcher news, Ecuador is set to launch the World ID orb verification service, which will be available at six locations in two cities. The first location is the port city of Guayaquil, starting on June 26, and the second location is the capital Quito, starting on June 27.It is reported that anyone aged 18 and over can undergo World ID orb verification at these locations.In addition, Ecuador joins an increasing number of countries in Latin America, such as Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru, offering World ID orb verification services.

ChainCatcher news, according to Techcrunch, Worldcoin will no longer provide Orb verification services in India, Brazil, and France. The Worldcoin development foundation Tools for Humanity stated that it has expanded Orb to many markets this year for "limited access" and will continue to work with global partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
