According to Chain Catcher news and reported by The Guardian, Australia's second-largest telecommunications company, Optus, has experienced a massive user data breach. One attacker claims to possess relevant information, including detailed data of 11.2 million Optus customers, such as user names, birth dates, phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, as well as passport and driver's license numbers. They also released samples of two customers' information and demanded 1 million dollars in Monero. (The Guardian)
