ChainCatcher news, OP Labs announced on social media that Optimism plans to take down the OP Goerli testnet on March 7.OP Labs stated that they have been working with partners for several months to streamline the transition from OP Goerli to OP Sepolia, in order to encourage users with testing and development needs to migrate to the fully supported OP Sepolia testnet.

ChainCatcher message, OP Labs stated on social media that the Canyon network upgrade for OP Goerli and OP Sepolia is scheduled for November 14, 2023, at 17:00 UTC.It is reported that these versions will lay the foundation for future iterations of the superchain, and node providers and OP Chain operators are advised to upgrade their testnet nodes by November 7 to ensure that the nodes are ready for the network upgrade later this month.

ChainCatcher news, developers of the Base blockchain OP Labs have launched fraud proofs on the OP Goerli Testnet network, aimed at addressing critical flaws in OP Labs software.It is reported that the second phase of OP Labs will focus on achieving decentralization, and ultimately should be able to accommodate so-called "zero-knowledge" proofs as a replacement for fraud proofs.
