Movement Labs is about to complete a $100 million Series B funding round, led by CoinFund and Nova Fund
ChainCatcher news, according to Fortune, the Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain development team Movement Labs announced that it is about to complete a $100 million Series B funding round, with a valuation of $3 billion. This round of financing is co-led by CoinFund and Nova Fund under Brevan Howard, and is expected to be completed by the end of January. Investors will receive a combination of equity and Move tokens, with a focus on tokens. Movement Labs previously completed a $38 million Series A funding round led by Polychain Capital in April 2024.The project is built on the Move programming language and launched its testnet and tokens in December 2024. Currently, the market capitalization of Move tokens is approximately $2.25 billion, doubling since its initial trading, and it has been listed on major exchanges such as Binance and Coinbase.
