Sonic SVM based on Solana's L2 mainnet Mobius is officially launched, along with a 2.4 million $SONIC reward program
ChainCatcher news, according to the Sonic SVM announcement, the Layer 2 scaling network Mobius mainnet based on the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) is officially online, aimed at enhancing Solana's scalability and providing a dedicated computing layer for high-frequency applications such as DeFi and GameFi.Sonic SVM adopts the HyperGrid framework, maintaining full compatibility with the Solana ecosystem while reducing transaction costs, cutting transaction fees by 50% compared to the Solana mainnet, and offering millisecond-level RPC responses. In addition, Sonic SVM has launched a mainnet reward program totaling 2.4 million $SONIC, as well as a $1 million hackathon, encouraging developers to deploy applications on Mobius. The first season of Mobius activities is now open and will last until April 10, allowing developers and users to enter the Sonic SVM ecosystem, experience on-chain games and DeFi applications, and earn rewards.
