McAfee launches "Project Mockingbird" technology to detect AI-generated audio deception

McAfee showcased the program's first public demonstration at CES 2024, aimed at enhancing online privacy, identity, and overall well-being by distinguishing between real and manipulated content. The company is developing core technology components for use across its product line to help people identify and capture potentially less obvious AI-generated or fake content.
