Layer1 blockchain Linera launches public Devnet
ChainCatcher news, Layer1 blockchain Linera has launched a public Devnet aimed at Rust developers and built on the WebAssembly (Wasm) virtual machine. Developers can now test their projects on a small number of test validators operated by the Linera core team.It is reported that Linera is a low-latency blockchain designed for elastic scalability, fundamentally changing blockchain scalability by introducing microchains, eliminating memory pools, and minimizing validator interactions. Linera optimizes the performance of web3 applications used by a large number of active users in parallel, providing high scalability for use cases such as retail payments, gaming micropayments, messaging, self-custody trading, and blockchain bridges. In August 2023, Linera raised additional seed funding, securing a total of $12 million from a16z, Borderless Capital, Laser Digital Ventures, Flow Traders, GSR Markets, and others.
