Rose shared images of himself walking past burned cars and houses on the social platform Threads, stating, "It's unfortunate to lose everything in the fire; nothing is left."Since the fire broke out on Wednesday, nearly 180,000 people have been evacuated, and at least 10 people have died. This fire is one of the most destructive in California's history.Additionally, the cryptocurrency industry in Los Angeles has also been affected, with the Bitcoin office in Santa Monica and employees of Swan Bitcoin facing threats from the fire. Approximately 10,000 buildings have been destroyed, and several crypto enthusiasts have suffered property losses due to wallet and credential losses.In December 2021, Rose founded PROOF, the company behind Moonbirds, and sold it to Yuga Labs last year. As part of the deal, Rose will serve as an advisor to Yuga Labs during a "brief transition period."
