NFT art platform TRLab has completed a $5 million seed round financing, led by OKX Ventures and Hivemind Capital
According to ChainCatcher news, the NFT art platform TRLab has announced the completion of a $5 million seed round financing, led by OKX Ventures and Hivemind Capital Partners, with participation from HashKey Group's investment branch HashKey Capital. Hivemind and OKX Ventures will provide strategic support for TRLab in the U.S. and Asian markets, respectively. The funds will be used to bring in more artists, foundations, and cultural institutions to collaborate with TRLab, expand the company's market share internationally, and integrate new technologies to enhance the digital art collection experience. In the next six months, TRLab will launch several digital art experiences in collaboration with renowned artists and foundation institutions, and will hold TRLab's first offline art exhibition this November.It is reported that TRLab is an innovative company that integrates art and technology, co-founded and led in 2021 by Li Xin, the non-executive vice chairman of Christie’s auction house, and Ou Jinqiao, the CEO of TRLab. It was incubated by Dragonfly Capital. Since its establishment in New York and Hong Kong, TRLab has been dedicated to collaborating with artists, foundations, and art institutions to incubate and produce, while providing collectors with high-quality digital art interactive experiences. TRLab's platform has collaborated with mainstream fashion magazine Vogue, the Calder Foundation, founded by sculptor Alexander Calder, contemporary artist Cai Guo-Qiang, and the digital art institution Rhizome affiliated with the New Museum in New York to release multiple projects.
