ChainCatcher news, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) recently announced the latest members of the International Technology Advisory Panel. It is reported that the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) was established in 1971, and its functions encompass the management and regulation of various financial sectors, including currency, banking, securities, and insurance. The panel was established in 2016 and consists of chief innovation scientists from top global financial institutions, leaders from fintech companies, venture capitalists, and leaders in technology and innovation, aiming to provide advice on the international development of fintech and how Singapore can leverage new technologies to enhance financial services.The 15 new members are all industry leaders, including executives from Microsoft, Mastercard, JPMorgan Chase, Amazon, and the London Stock Exchange, as well as Professor Gu Ronghui, co-founder of the security expert CertiK in the Web3.0 field. This is another government initiative to introduce leading figures from the Web3.0 industry into the advisory panel, following the establishment of the Web3.0 development task force in Hong Kong.
