ChainCatcher news, Gala Games' blockchain president Jason Brink shared the platform-wide Pay-by-Burn plan on Discord. In the first quarter of 2023, when there is a purchase activity on Gala, the GALA used for this purchase will be burned.Gala Games stated that users can still make purchases using ETH or credit cards; however, all GALA used to purchase digital assets will be burned. This change will take a few days to fully implement, and by the end of next week, any purchases on the Gala platform will automatically result in the burning of GALA. After the GALA is burned, an equal amount of tokens will be added to the release pool to be redistributed through the Founders Nodes in a normal distribution. (source link)
