ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, the EU has chosen Frankfurt, Germany as the location for its new Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA), which will directly oversee the cryptocurrency sector. The agency consists of the AMLA itself and national authorities from the 27 EU member states, with the task of ensuring that countries comply with all anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing obligations agreed upon by the EU.
