Flybondi, an Argentine airline, issues NFT tickets based on Algorand
ChainCatcher news, Argentine airline Flybondi integrates Web3 into its ticketing process by issuing electronic tickets as NFTs.The new integration, announced on Thursday, is called Ticket 3.0 and is in collaboration with NFT ticketing company TravelX to issue NFTs based on the Algorand blockchain, allowing passengers to independently change names, transfer, or sell their "NFT tickets." Flybondi stated that the NFT tickets "provide a more flexible travel experience," and in return, the company is able to reduce customer service costs and increase transaction fee revenue. No additional fees are charged when users initially purchase tickets, but a 2% transaction fee is applied when trading on the secondary market. (source link)
