ChainCatcher message, the Sei ecosystem derivative DEX Filament Finance was hacked between 12:00 AM and 4:00 AM UTC on April 6, 2025. The attacker conducted unauthorized fund withdrawals through price manipulation and self-liquidation mechanisms, resulting in a loss of approximately $572,000. The platform has currently suspended trading and withdrawal operations and is conducting an investigation in collaboration with law enforcement and blockchain forensics partners. The stolen funds were primarily transferred to exchanges via Symbiosis Bridge, particularly FixedFloat.Filament Finance has publicly offered a 10% white hat bounty to the attacker, on the condition that 90% of the stolen funds are returned, and expressed willingness to negotiate a resolution to avoid legal escalation.
