Although the yield for staking Ethereum remains below 4%, interest in staking continues to grow.According to data from ValidatorQueue, the number of validators on the Ethereum network has surged, with the so-called validator queue reaching 7,045, the highest since October 6. The waiting list represents over 225,000 Ether (worth $56.2 billion), which is expected to clear within 48 hours. Validators are entities that stake at least 32 Ether in the network to participate in running Ethereum's proof-of-stake consensus blockchain. In exchange for staking Ether, they receive a stable return similar to fixed-income instruments like bonds.
