ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, the major U.S. securities clearing agency DTCC has announced its support for the Ethereum ERC-3643 standard for permissioned security tokens and has joined the ERC3643 Association to promote this standard. This indicates a positive attitude towards tokenization from U.S. regulators following Trump's commitment to make the U.S. the "world's crypto capital," and also suggests that the Ethereum blockchain may play an important role in the ecosystem of permissioned security tokens in the U.S.Dennis O'Connell, chairman of the ERC3643 Association, stated that DTCC will drive the future of tokenization and support institutional adoption. ERC-3643 (T-REX protocol) is a set of open-source smart contracts that enable the issuance, management, and transfer of permissioned tokens on a permissionless blockchain, relying on a customized decentralized identity protocol to ensure that only qualified users hold the tokens.
