ChainCatcher news, Ava Labs Platform Engineering Vice President Patrick O'Grady posted on X platform that Avalanche Durango version 4 has been released.This version (v1.11.4) is backward compatible with v1.11.0. It is optional but recommended for all node operators, with a focus on P-Chain block cleanup, MerkleDB memory optimization, and Interval Tree Bootstrapping, among others.

ChainCatcher news, the Avalanche development team has released the Durango upgrade and launched the Teleporter to enhance interoperability within its subnet ecosystem.It is reported that the Teleporter aims to unify specific application chains (or subnets) within the Avalanche ecosystem, addressing the issue of network fragmentation. It is built on Avalanche Warp Messaging (AWM) and can communicate between its EVM-compatible subnets.

Additionally, Avalanche Korea officially announced that the activation time for the Durango upgrade is expected to be at 00:00 Beijing time on March 7.It is reported that the Durango upgrade will introduce Avalanche Warp Messaging to the C-Chain, enabling native cross-chain communication for every EVM chain in the Avalanche ecosystem and establishing standards for future virtual machine (VM) use of AWM.
