AP Poll: Harris Maintains Lead Among Democratic Candidates, Voter Ratings More Positive

Now, the perception of this Democratic presidential candidate is positive rather than negative. Former President Donald Trump's support remains steady, although this poll was conducted before the Republican candidate was assassinated on a golf course in Florida on Sunday (September 15).Currently, about half of registered voters have a favorable view of Harris, while the proportion of those with a favorable view of Trump is 37%. The current support rates for both candidates are similar to those in August. The August 2024 poll found that 48% of the public had a favorable view of Harris, while 41% had a favorable view of Trump. The latest poll found that 88% of Democratic voters have a favorable view of Harris, while 77% of Republican voters have a positive view of Trump.
