ChainCatcher news, the Cosmos ecosystem DEX Osmosis and the lending protocol UX Chain (formerly Umee) are proposing a merger. The merger proposal includes combining UX Chain's lending logic with Osmosis's decentralized exchange, aiming to form a comprehensive DeFi hub.It is reported that if approved, the process will begin with integrating UX Chain's codebase into the Osmosis Chain, combining its functionalities and total locked value. Separate governance votes from each network community will guide the merger process, including the possibility of unifying tokens.

ChainCatcher news, the Cosmos ecosystem DEX Osmosis has integrated the Celestia data availability layer. Osmosis stated that future Rollup networks can access liquidity anywhere and use any tokens on the Osmosis network for cross-chain payment of DA fees on Celestia. Osmosis also mentioned that it will soon integrate with the cross-chain application building platform Hyperlane.
