Report: Singapore ranks first in the global cryptocurrency adoption index, with five Asian countries in the top ten
ChainCatcher news, according to a report by CryptoSlate, the investment immigration consulting firm Henley & Partners released the "Henley Cryptocurrency Adoption Index 2024" report on August 30, 2024, showing that Singapore ranks first in the world for cryptocurrency adoption with a score of 45.7 (out of a maximum of 60).The report evaluated 28 countries, covering aspects such as public adoption, infrastructure, innovative technology, regulatory environment, economic factors, and tax friendliness. Hong Kong and the UAE ranked second and third with scores of 42.1 and 41.8, respectively. Notably, Asian countries occupy five spots in the top ten, with Malaysia and Thailand ranking eighth and tenth, respectively, in addition to Singapore and Hong Kong.
