DCG's cryptocurrency mining company Foundry acquires some assets of Bitcoin mining company Compute North
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, DCG's crypto mining company Foundry will acquire two cryptocurrency mining facilities and other assets of the Bitcoin miner Compute North, located in South Dakota and Texas, with a total power supply of 17 MW. As part of the deal, Foundry will also have the right to fully construct and operate Compute North's facility in Minden, Nebraska, along with a fleet of mining machines and its intellectual property.ChainCatcher previously reported that Compute North filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in September, and Foundry recently stated on Twitter that it operates independently of Genesis Lending, with daily operations unaffected by Genesis's recent announcement.
