Casper testnet sees a surge in low-bid transactions, team urgently fixes and adjusts fees
ChainCatcher message, August 7, the MAKE team discovered a sudden surge in transaction volume on the Casper Testnet, with tens of thousands of low-bid transactions calling the auction contract add_bid function being submitted, resulting in increased on-chain CPU load and storage consumption.The Casper Association and Casper Labs intervened urgently, quickly fixing the vulnerability, and through an update raised the cost of add_bid to 3500 CSPR, while setting a minimum bid requirement of 10000 CSPR.This incident did not affect the mainnet, and the funds are secure.
