OKX Ventures invests in the 2.5 version of ZkEVM Kakarot based on Cairo language
ChainCatcher news, OKX Ventures announced an investment in Kakarot. It is reported that Kakarot is a 2.5 class ZkEVM written in the Turing-complete programming language Cairo, currently launching its first test network, which will operate as L2 on Ethereum or L3 on StarkNet. After this initial phase, Kakarot plans to become a 1 class ZkEVM, enabling any L1 node to generate Stark Proofs. Additionally, Kakarot is currently exploring other ZKPs, account abstraction, and scaling solutions to promote the growth and resilience of the Web3 space.Dora, the founder of OKX Ventures, stated, "Kakarot is built on Starknet, using an innovative language development form, addressing the issue of Starknet's incompatibility with EVM, allowing the Ethereum ecosystem to thrive on Starknet."
