This seems to be the fate of the cryptocurrency industry: it grows in a twisted manner, becomes increasingly centralized, faces crackdowns, is forced to decentralize, successfully decentralizes, then grows again giving rise to various giant centers, only to be targeted for elimination or for these centers to implode, leading to another round of decentralization, and then it starts all over again.

For those in the cryptocurrency space and gold traders, Gary Gensler is a person both groups despise, but based on past experiences, he may be more capable of "moving against the wind" than some might think.
