The state legislature's website shows that Governor Kevin Stitt approved the bill on May 13, which will take effect on November 1.Under the new law, the Oklahoma government cannot prohibit, restrict, or impair the use of cryptocurrency in purchases and rights such as self-custody.Additionally, state and local governments cannot impose additional taxes or fees specifically targeting cryptocurrency, and the tax applicable to fiat currency applies, making participation in any type of mining in the state legal to protect local household crypto mining and mining businesses.
