ChainCatcher news, Latin American cryptocurrency service provider Ripio announced on Tuesday that it has received approval from the Bank of Spain to operate as a "fiat currency virtual currency exchange service and digital wallet custody provider."Cryptocurrency exchange Bit2Me was the first company to receive a cryptocurrency license issued by the Bank of Spain, followed by Bitpanda, Crypto.com, Bitstamp, and BVNK, which also obtained approval to operate as exchanges in the region.Ripio was founded in Argentina in 2013, has 8 million users, and a monthly trading volume of $200 million.
