ChainCatcher news, Lin Chen, the Head of APAC Business at Deribit, posted on platform X stating that the DVOL volatility index of BTC has dropped to 51, with a recent high of 82 reached on March 11, followed by a continuous decline, and it may further decrease during the summer.

ChainCatcher message, Deribit Asia Pacific Business Head Lin Chen posted on platform X stating: "The spot price of BTC continues to rise (new highs), but the DVOL volatility index has dropped from 84 to 73, which is quite an interesting indicator; simply put, the flames are still high (prices are high), but the fire is not burning stronger (expectations have come down). The trend of market sentiment may be changing."

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, Deribit's BTC DVOL index (a measure of expected price volatility over the next 30 days) has surged to an annualized 76%, reaching a new high since November 2022.
