ChainCatcher news, the Balancer ecosystem revenue governance platform Aura Finance announced on social media that Aura is about to welcome an optimized token economy and a sustainable long-term issuance method.Aura will immediately reduce the total token issuance by 12% and plans to reduce it every two years in the coming years, while maintaining a stable annual interest rate and prioritizing aura BALLP and AURA. Various optimization strategies will be adopted to enhance AURA/ETH liquidity, which will double the annual interest rate of AURA/ETHLP. It will also eliminate the underlying yield of vlAURA by redirecting vlAURA fees to AURA/ETH liquidity incentives.

Users and DeFi developers can connect to Bitget Wallet via the web or mobile app to use Aura Finance's products and services, including providing liquidity, locking and staking tokens to increase yield and governance rights, as well as developing new DeFi products.It is reported that Aura Finance is a protocol based on the Balancer system, providing maximum incentives for Balancer liquidity providers and users who convert BAL staking into veBAL by aggregating BAL deposits and the native Aura token through social means.

ChainCatcher news, the Balancer ecosystem yield governance platform Aura Finance will implement an update on token economics through AIP-42, effective August 17. The impacts of the update include: a 15% increase in voting rewards, worth approximately $60,000 per cycle; a reduction of 1.75 million AURA tokens unlocked annually; and effectively limiting the AURA minting amount for BAL to well below 50 million units, as stipulated by the initial token economics.
