Maker founder: A stablecoin PureDa loyal to the original vision of the protocol will be launched outside of NewStable
ChainCatcher news, Maker founder Rune Christensen posted on the X platform stating that as a complement to NewStable, to meet the needs of users who prefer a purely decentralized vision, Maker is expected to launch another purely decentralized stablecoin, PureDai.In the future, users holding DAI will be able to upgrade DAI to NewStable or PureDai, with the conversion to NewStable expected to be available in the short term, while PureDai is anticipated to be released in a few years.PureDai will be a purely decentralized over-collateralized stablecoin (supporting ETH and stETH) that will only be deployed on the Ethereum mainnet, relying on decentralized oracle operations, and will have no governance or other budget. PureDai will be released in an immutable form, meaning that the token will not require further upgrades or changes from the moment of its release and will be completely independent of Maker.Rune added that until PureDai confirms a new brand, PureDai will be used as a temporary name for the token.
