Coinbase, Ripple, and a16z will attend the Republican and Democratic National Conventions
ChainCatcher news, Coinbase, Ripple, and a16z plan to send representatives to the Republican National Convention (RNC), followed by participation in the Democratic National Convention (DNC).These companies will first "show their stance to the Republican power brokers," supporting election outcomes that favor industry-friendly policies, highlighting the broad support for the crypto industry within the Republican Party. Participation in the RNC and DNC represents each company's ongoing commitment to bipartisan crypto policies.All three companies are members of the Fairshake Super Political Action Committee, which has raised $177.9 million and spent $70.9 million during the 2024 election cycle. This Super PAC aims to benefit U.S. candidates who support cryptocurrency, regardless of their party affiliation.It is currently unclear whether company representatives have arrived at the RNC, which will conclude on July 18. Meanwhile, the DNC is scheduled to take place from August 19 to August 24.
