GameStop announced plans to privately issue a total of $1.3 billion in 0.00% convertible senior notes (due 2030) to qualified institutional investors. Depending on market conditions, the company may also authorize the initial purchasers to purchase up to an additional $200 million of notes within 13 days.
GameStop stated that the proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including purchasing Bitcoin in accordance with the company's investment policy.
According to The Block, French Hill, chairman of the U.S. House Financial Services Committee, stated at a blockchain summit in Washington that a revised draft of the cryptocurrency market structure bill will be unveiled in the coming days. This is an updated version of the "Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21st Century Act" (FIT21) that passed the House last year.
The bill has not yet been formally introduced in this Congress but was passed in the House last year with support from 71 Democratic lawmakers, including former Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Interactive Brokers adds support for trading SOL, ADA, XRP, and DOGE
According to Bloomberg, U.S. online brokerage Interactive Brokers announced that it has added support for trading Solana (SOL), Cardano (ADA), Ripple (XRP), and Dogecoin (DOGE) on its trading platform.
Users can trade these cryptocurrencies on the same platform used for stocks, options, futures, forex, bonds, and mutual funds. Previously, the platform supported BTC, ETH, LTC, and BCH.
Binance founder Zhao Changpeng (CZ) stated on social media that all BNB transaction fees or donations received through the public address will be used to support BSC community projects. He may directly use these funds to purchase some tokens, as this is the simplest way to support BSC projects.
At the same time, Zhao Changpeng also mentioned that he will ignore other tokens sent to that address for as long as possible, as processing these tokens requires additional effort.
OKX will launch FLUID spot trading
According to official news, OKX announced that it will launch FLUID (Fluid) spot trading. FLUID/USDT spot trading will officially open on March 27, 2025, at 18:00 Beijing time.
