Exploring the Game "Crypto Rumble": Hero Development Chapter
Crypto Rumble
"Crypto Rumble" is a Web3 game based on the Zypher Network game engine, combining card RPG and match-3 gameplay. The ultimate goal for players is to defeat the evil BOSS in the game.
Before each game round begins, players need to select three heroes from their hero pool to form their team, and they can also choose different equipment from their inventory to provide certain attribute bonuses to their heroes. In the game, the player team and the BOSS engage in a turn-based combat mode. During the player's turn, they need to charge their heroes' attacks through match-3 gameplay. Each time a block is cleared, the player’s team will take turns attacking the BOSS. The more blocks the player clears in a single turn, the higher the damage dealt to the BOSS. Players must defeat the BOSS before running out of game turns; otherwise, they will lose the game.
In the game, both heroes and the BOSS have different class attributes, which interact with each other in a rock-paper-scissors manner. Triggering advantageous matchups will significantly enhance the heroes' attack effects, so players need to strategically arrange heroes of different attributes. Meanwhile, heroes also have levels and qualities; the higher the level and quality of a hero, the better the attack effects and rewards they provide. Therefore, before starting the game, players need to understand the hero development rules.
Hero Development Rules
Heroes are the main character elements in the game, and each hero has a level attribute ranging from level 1 to level 100. Each hero also has a quality attribute, classified into three quality levels: Normal, Elite, and Legendary.
Hero Levels
"Crypto Rumble" sets hero levels from 1 to 100. As heroes are continuously leveled up, not only will additional skills and traits be unlocked, but their overall combat power will also be enhanced.
Upgrading heroes requires experience points and in-game tokens $GOLD. Experience points are a necessary resource for hero upgrades, which players can earn by participating in game battles. $GOLD is an incentive asset in the game, which players can obtain through various means such as participating in games and completing tasks. Players can also use $GP and $Diam to exchange in the store.
When upgrading, the higher the hero's level, the more experience points and $GOLD are required to reach the next level. The experience points and $GOLD required for different levels to upgrade to the next level are as follows:

Quality
In Crypto Rumble, heroes are divided into three qualities: Normal, Elite, and Legendary. To upgrade from Normal to Elite, two identical heroes are needed, along with a certain amount of $Diam (obtained through on-chain recharge). Once a hero reaches Legendary quality, they will further have star levels, ranging from 1 star to 5 stars. After star upgrading, the hero's attack power will increase by a percentage, and star upgrading requires combining three identical heroes and consuming a certain amount of $Diam.
As heroes' levels and qualities increase, players will be able to explore richer resources and rewards in the world of "Crypto Rumble" and gain more influence.
The "Crypto Rumble" game is set to launch on the Zypher Layer3 chain Zytron Pioneer in November 2024, and will airdrop blind boxes and other game assets to active users on the Linea mainnet and ETH mainnet. Players can participate in the "Treasure Ark" event to receive blind box rewards by staking related assets (https://ark.zypher.network/). For every 0.5 ETH / 0.5 wstETH / 0.5 ezETH / 0.5 STONE / 0.5 weETH staked, players will receive a mysterious box containing a "Crypto Rumble" hero.
A total of 10,000 "Crypto Rumble" hero mystery boxes will be given away in the Treasure Ark event, and each box will contain heroes that can enhance the player's team combat power! There is no limit to the number of boxes a single player can receive; players can continue to stake and collect until all boxes are distributed.
