Crypto Rumble

Crypto Rumble is a card RPG + match-3 Web3 game built on the Zypher Network game engine. Before each game starts, players need to select three heroes from their hero pool to form their team, and they can also choose different equipment from their backpack to provide certain attribute bonuses to the heroes. The ultimate goal of each game is to defeat the BOSS with different attributes.

In the battle against the BOSS, a turn-based system will be adopted. During the player's turn, players need to achieve match-3 by moving blocks, and after successfully eliminating blocks, the three heroes will attack the BOSS. The effectiveness of the player's attack on the BOSS depends on the heroes' attributes, levels, and qualities, as well as the number of blocks eliminated in a single turn (the more blocks eliminated, the higher the damage dealt to the BOSS). The game usually limits the number of moves players can make, and defeating the BOSS before running out of moves results in victory. Conversely, if all heroes are defeated before the moves run out, or if the BOSS is not defeated after running out of moves, the game ends in failure.

In fact, heroes are the most critical element in the game. We need to strategize by selecting different heroes to form teams to achieve optimal results against different BOSSes. At the same time, we also need to continuously upgrade and enhance the quality of our heroes to gain a better gaming experience in PvE battles and to gain higher returns in PvP gameplay. Before starting your journey in Crypto Rumble, let's take a comprehensive look at the heroes in the game.

Hero Introduction

In Crypto Rumble, both BOSSes and heroes consist of three attributes: Mage, Assassin, and Warrior. Currently, there are a total of 9 heroes available for players to choose from, with three heroes for each attribute, and each hero has unique skill damage.

Different hero attributes have a counter relationship, where Warriors counter Assassins, Mages counter Warriors, and Assassins counter Mages. When a hero's attribute counters the BOSS's attribute, an advantageous duel is triggered, granting the hero a 50% damage bonus, thus showcasing their natural advantage. Conversely, when a hero faces a BOSS with an attribute that counters them, a disadvantageous duel is triggered, resulting in a 50% damage reduction for the BOSS, reflecting the difficulty of fighting a stronger opponent. Therefore, when facing different BOSSes, we need to strategically arrange different lineups to achieve better damage against the BOSS.

Hero Levels and Qualities

Heroes not only have level characteristics but also different qualities within the same hero.

Heroes have levels ranging from 1 to 100, and players can upgrade their heroes. Upgrading a hero requires experience points (gained from participating in games and completing tasks) as well as in-game assets, the $Gold token. Each upgrade of a hero will enhance their attack power, defense, agility, stamina, and other attributes. Additionally, the higher the hero's level, the more experience points and $Gold tokens are required for upgrades.

In addition to levels, each hero also has quality attributes, including Normal, Elite, and Legendary. Players can choose the same hero to fuse and consume a certain amount of $Diam assets to enhance their quality. Improving quality will result in a qualitative leap in the hero's attributes.

It is important to note that each hero in Crypto Rumble has vitality (VIT), starting at 1,000 VIT, which will be consumed during battles. VIT does not automatically recover and requires the consumption of $Diam tokens to replenish. The amount of $Diam required for recovery depends on the hero's rarity—higher rarity requires more $Diam.

How to Obtain Heroes

Mystery blind boxes are the primary way for players to obtain heroes in Crypto Rumble. Blind boxes can be purchased in the store using $Diam tokens. Opening a mystery blind box can randomly yield heroes of different professions, with a chance to obtain high-quality heroes such as Elite and Legendary.

In addition to purchasing in the store with $Diam tokens, players can also participate in the "Treasure Ark" event to earn blind box rewards by staking relevant assets (https://ark.zypher.network/). For every 0.5 ETH / 0.5 wstETH / 0.5 ezETH / 0.5 STONE / 0.5 weETH staked, players will receive a mystery box containing a Crypto Rumble hero.

The Treasure Ark event will distribute a total of 10,000 Crypto Rumble hero mystery boxes, each containing heroes that can enhance the player's team strength! There is no limit to the number of boxes a single player can obtain; continue to stake and collect until they are all given away.
