At the Meter Foundation, our primary focus is to promote ecosystem growth, provide key support for the development of new DApps, and bring a better experience to users and developers. Last month, we launched the long-awaited Sumer Points program and our own Meter Points, and announced the winners of the Buidlbox hackathon. Now, let's take a look at the detailed progress!

Meter Points Collaboration Program with Sumer

Have you participated in DeFi activities on the Meter network? Thanks to our collaboration with Sumer on the Meter Points program and the ongoing Sumer Points program, you can now earn Meter Points by participating in DeFi activities on the Meter network.
The joint implementation of this points program will provide an exciting opportunity for Meter's on-chain ecosystem, incentivizing users to participate long-term in DeFi on the Meter network. The Sumer Points program launched simultaneously on July 18, 2024, on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, and the Meter network, and will closely collaborate with several notable asset partners, including ether.fi, Pendle, Kelp DAO, Puffer Finance, and Angle.
Under this partnership program, the TVL of Sumer, Voltswap, Meridian Finance, and Symmetric on the Meter network is eligible to earn Meter Points, which will be converted into MTRG airdrops in the future.
Sumer Points Program
Sumer will allocate 5-15% of the total token supply to their early supporters to incentivize their contributions to Sumer's TVL and interactions with the protocol.
In addition to Meter Points and referral rewards, the Sumer Points program also includes points-based airdrop reward pools and NFT-based airdrop reward pools.
Sumer's Galxe Activity
The Sumer Points program is hosting a Galxe activity with a total prize pool of over $2,500! This activity will last until the second week of September.

Buidlbox Hackathon HackMeter Concludes!
A perpetual contract decentralized exchange, a spot order book decentralized exchange, an exciting game, and a unique feature are waiting for the Meter community!
Supported by Meter, the four-week HackMeter hackathon concluded in early July, with Meridian Trade (a GMX-style perpetual contract decentralized exchange), Nectar (a spot order book decentralized exchange), the Unreal Destiny game launched by Business Builders, and innovative developments in applications and innovations --- open account passkey ultimately achieving exciting victories.

Meridian Trade Launches on the Meter Network
As a winner of the HackMeter application track, Meridian Trade has launched on the Meter network!
Now, users can trade MTRG with up to 50x leverage on Meridian Trade, swap between MTRG and USDC, USDT with zero slippage, become liquidity providers for MLP to earn yields, and enjoy rate discounts and rebates through the Meridian referral program. Meridian Trade is a GMX-style margin trading product that allows traders to amplify market exposure using only a portion of the value of their trading positions.
Decentralized Liquid Staking on Meter, with Annual Yields Exceeding 30%!
The Meter network is expanding its validator pool to enhance security, performance, and decentralization. After relevant governance proposals were approved by the community, more than 8 community members have successfully registered as liquid staking nodes. The current TVL of the Meter ecosystem is $2.8 million.
Staking and Node Operations
There are currently 308 nodes on the mainnet supporting a 10% APY, with 50% of the circulating supply participating in staking.

We have run over 58.5 million blocks on the Meter mainnet, with an average latency of 1.7 seconds. The total transaction volume exceeds 31 million.

The number of user wallets has rapidly grown to 383,125.
