BTCBot updates features, allowing professional users to set a fixed gas price for minting, and during the minting process, a target gas price can be set for multiple boosts. The specific operations are as follows:

Custom Gas Price

  • Open BTCBot, enter the name of the Runes token (e.g., Uncommongoods) in the Telegram chat box, and click send.
  • The "Instant Mint" interface will pop up, allowing you to set the "number of tokens," and now you can also set a fixed Gas Price. Click send, and BTCBot will mint with this fixed gas price.

Note: If AutoBoost is turned off in "Wallet Settings," even if the gas price is too low and the transaction is not on-chain for a long time, BTCBot will not automatically boost. Generally, the Gas Price does not need to be set, as "automatic" defaults to the current BTC network Gas Price (high priority).

  • Click "Submit."

Manual Boost

After issuing a transaction, if the set network fee is 24sat/vB and AutoBoost is turned off in "Wallet Settings," you can either enable AutoBoost for automatic boosting or manually boost for fine control of gas price.

Note: Even if AutoBoost (automatic boost) is enabled, you can still manually boost according to your needs.

Click "Menu," select "Pending," and it will display the pending orders.

Click "Manual Boost," then click "start" in the chat box to modify the gas price, and click "Submit."

Note: The gas price value submitted at this time is the effective gas price, which will raise all previously issued transactions to the currently set gas price; adjustments can be made multiple times.

The above is a tutorial on setting custom gas prices and manual boosting. These features greatly enhance users' (especially expert users') fine control over the minting process and gas fees.
