The first Southeast Asia Blockchain Conference (SEABC) was successfully held on March 10, 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This summit is the first major blockchain industry event tailored for the Southeast Asian region. It attracted over 5,000 attendees, including investors, enthusiasts, media organizations, and industry leaders, who gathered to discuss the latest trends and innovations in the blockchain field.
SEABC 2024 invited more than 80 speakers from various sectors of the industry, including Polygon Labs, Animoca Brands, Solana Foundation, Sandbox, Hashkey, Near Vietnam hub, Nuvei, ABCDE Highlight, and W3GG. The conference highlighted the potential of blockchain technology to transform and disrupt various industries. Keynote speeches and panel discussions explored multiple aspects, from the application of blockchain technology in daily life to its current and potential contributions across different sectors.
Mai Ngo, Southeast Asia Regional Manager of Gate.io, who represented Gate Web3 at the conference, praised SEABC as an "excellent platform for dialogue and sharing," emphasizing the "power of partnerships and community in shaping the blockchain landscape."
