Recently, with the launch of the Fusionist Beta test and the announcement of OKX Jumpstart, market sentiment has been reignited.

OKX Jumpstart mining will start on December 13, 2023, at 14:00. $BTC and $OKB holders can obtain $ACE token rewards through staking, with the following rules:

It is important to note that this OKX Jumpstart is limited to East Asian countries, excluding mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Mongolia, North Korea, and Japan.

The token for this mining event is $ACE, which is the governance token of Fusionist's mainnet Endurance, with a total supply of 147,000,000 tokens, distributed as follows:

Returning to the game itself, Fusionist is a game universe built on the Unity engine, featuring various collectible NFTs, consisting mainly of three games:

Game 1: Colonization (Construction Simulation)

Game 2: Conquest (Turn-based Strategy)

Game 3: Alliance (SLG)

The game is set in the year 2800, where human overdevelopment has led to the deterioration of Earth's environment, making it uninhabitable. Space travel technology has matured, leading to wars over resource competition. Players will take on the role of a mech commander, managing their own planet, building industrial production lines, collecting rare resources, upgrading technology, and scanning blueprints to create mechs. Ultimately, through PVP and PVE, players will establish interstellar fleets for interstellar warfare, conquering the galaxy.

Fusionist has undergone about a year of development, and the community's roadmap updated in August of this year is as follows, currently at the Game 2 Beta testing stage:

Beta II testing started on November 22, with the content open for Game 2's turn-based mech PVP battles, testing until December 13. The following content is from the test version of the game and does not represent the final effect of the official version.

Entering the main game interface, Fusionist showcases a futuristic mech with sci-fi combat, and the main menu on the left lists:

  • Blueprints (BLUEPRINT)------New mech acquisition
  • Hangar (HANGAR)------Mech inspection, equipment changes
  • Repair (REPAIR)------Not yet opened
  • Battle Mode (BATTLE)------PVP, PVE combat
  • Esports Mode (ESPORTS)------Not yet opened
  • Mission Mode (MISSION)------Not yet opened

The following will focus on the content that has been opened in the menu list: Blueprints, Hangar, Battle Mode.

  • Blueprints:

Scanning blueprints is the main way to acquire new mechs in the game.

Mechs in the game are divided into four different levels: Elite (ELITE), Epic (EPIC), Legendary (LEGEND), and Mythical (MYTHICAL). The four levels correspond to four types of rarity, with Mythical > Legendary > Epic > Elite, and the higher the rarity, the stronger the mech.

By playing the game, players can earn Matrix points, with the winning side earning 100 points and the losing side earning 70 points. Currently, the high-strength titanium alloy (High-strength Titanium Alloy) of green quality requires 200 points for one blueprint scan, and the scanned blueprints will be displayed in the blueprint showcase on the left. The probabilities of scanning different rarity blueprints are shown above.

Clicking on a blueprint will display the detailed attributes and skill information of that mech. Clicking the "Forge Mech" button in the lower right corner will allow players to store the new mech in the hangar.

  • Hangar

In the hangar, players can inspect and adjust their owned mechs and equipment. Different mechs have different equipment, cores, attributes, and classes.

Equipment: Players can hover over weapons to view the skill details of different weapons. General skills can be divided into three categories: Attack, Defense, and BUFF. Players can gain an advantage in battle by releasing skills strategically;

Core: Cores need to be unlocked at level 7, and different cores can provide different enhancements to mechs;

Attributes: There are a total of 10 different attributes for mechs, determining their base values;

Classes: Currently, there are five classes of mechs, and the author has experienced the first four classes, which are Heavy Mech (Protection), Melee Mech (Combat), Ranged Mech (Sniping), and Tank Mech (Heavy Firepower). Players can use the class characteristics of mechs to influence the battle situation.

  • Battle Mode

The PVP mode is open daily from 5:00 am - 7:00 am & 11:00 am - 1:00 pm (UTC), with the remaining time being PVE training mode.

In battle mode, each side deploys 5 mechs in turn-based combat on different maps, and defeating all enemy mechs will result in victory. The author has currently experienced gameplay on snow and desert maps.

Before matching an opponent, players need to adjust the order of their mechs, which will affect the initial positioning of the mechs and have a certain impact on the game situation. For example, placing a highly agile ranged mech in the front can secure a favorable position for long-range attacks on the enemy.

When successfully matched with an opponent and entering the game, players can learn about the mechs and classes deployed by the opponent through the loading screen, allowing them to prepare accordingly.

Once in the game, both sides spawn at opposite ends of the map, with the left side of the screen indicating the turn count and the action order of both sides' mechs, with blue representing our mechs and red representing the enemy's mechs. During each turn, mechs act in order of agility.

The lower left and lower right corners display the current status of the mechs, with the gray bar representing armor value, the green bar representing health, and the blue bar representing energy. Armor absorbs damage first, and once the armor is depleted, subsequent attacks will directly affect health. Armor can be restored through specific skills. Energy is required for attacks, with different skills consuming varying amounts of energy; more powerful skills consume more energy.

During a player's turn, there are three actions available: Move, Standby, and Release Skill. Each mech has two action points per turn (displayed next to the health bar), and both moving and releasing skills consume action points, while standing by ends that mech's action for the turn. Movement consumes different points based on the distance moved; if moving a short distance (shown as a white location), one action point remains for an attack.

Mech skills are divided into Target and Non-target skills, with Target skills dealing single-point damage and Non-target skills dealing area damage.

Ultimately, every player can win matches by coordinating different mech equipment, lineup, deployment order, and using different skills and strategies based on the battlefield situation.

The above is only part of the Beta test content; the official version of Fusionist has many features yet to be unlocked, and players can expect a more complete and rich gaming experience in the future.

In addition to the Fusionist game, the team has also developed Endurance------the on-chain mainnet for Fusionist, serving as the infrastructure layer for social interaction and game operation. It officially launched on January 31, 2023, with over 610,000 users within the first seven days and daily active wallet addresses reaching 114,800.

Endurance currently integrates features such as an auction house, NFT showcase, and web games.

Users can purchase cores, stabilizers, and mechs needed in the auction house, which essentially serves as an NFT Marketplace, supporting one-click floor sweeping.

$ACE is the governance token on Endurance, aimed at encouraging user participation in the network and earning rewards. After the official issuance of $ACE, users can earn $ACE rewards through the "Endurance" page on the official website.

In terms of NFTs, Endurance has issued a total of five types of NFTs: Alpha Prestige, BOAT, Quartan Primes, and Bi·Mech NFT.

Alpha Prestige is a rare NFT on Endurance, limited to 500 pieces, with a current floor price of 6.77$ETH.

Holders enjoy the following privileges:

  • Whitelist and free Mint for the limited edition mech Quartan Primes---Stars of Dawn
  • Qualification for Beta testing and subsequent airdrops
  • Special benefits in the game
  • Access to the Fusionist Discord private channel
  • Daily free ACE rewards
  • Whitelist and discounts for Fusionist events

BOAT is an achievement reward token on the Endurance chain, non-transferable and non-tradable, which can be purchased with ACE. Its main use case is to increase daily income from $ACE and provide various game-related benefits. BOAT is divided into five categories: Loyalty, Activity, Construction, Social, and Value-added.

Quartan Primes is a rare mech NFT that can be used in the future official version of the game, with a current floor price of 0.98$ETH.

Pioneer is a proof of participation in the Fusionist Beta test, with a current floor price of 2.05$ETH.

Bi·Mech consists of mechs with rare skins, with a current floor price of $700.

In addition, the web game "Expedition" is also included on Endurance, where players can send mechs on expeditions of varying difficulty to earn corresponding Nova Points, which are the designated currency for the auction house.

Overall, the Fusionist team has rich experience in the gaming field, bringing Web2 game development experience to Web3, creating a game that combines construction simulation, turn-based strategy, and SLG in a space sci-fi setting. The content of the Fusionist game is basically mature, currently entering the Beta II testing phase. Additionally, the team has launched the Endurance chain, responsible for supporting the operation of Fusionist and other social functions, and has issued multiple NFTs. The overall presentation of the project is relatively well-rounded. As the token issuance date approaches, further attention can be paid to the game's operational strategies and bug risks, as well as any token incentive plans to further increase the number of players and activity in the game.
