Haider Rafique, Chief Marketing Officer of OKX, stated, "In just one year, we have achieved a lot together. The McLaren F1 team is eager to embrace Web3, making it easier for the younger generation to understand its heritage and development. We hope to play a significant role in helping McLaren F1 realize this vision. The achievements McLaren has made both on and off the track are inspiring the next generation of drivers and fans to engage in the sport, and our goal is to help McLaren leap into the future and build together."

Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing, remarked, "This roundtable is a great opportunity to share the stage with our important partner OKX and discuss how technology is driving change in our respective industries. In F1 racing, we are constantly seeking to leverage innovative technology to maximize fan engagement opportunities. Partners like OKX can support us in making these commitments and guide us on how to explore Web3, providing fans with a better experience and easier access to motorsport."

In 2023, OKX announced it would continue its sponsorship of the Tribeca Festival as the world's first digital asset partner, marking the second year of collaboration aimed at providing new Web3 opportunities for creators, fans, and talent. Earlier this year, OKX also launched the Tribeca Festival NFT Pass in January.

In May of last year, OKX and McLaren Racing announced a long-term partnership, becoming the chief sponsor of the McLaren F1 team and the McLaren "Shadow Project" esports team, as well as its sole cryptocurrency platform partner. The OKX brand has appeared multiple times on McLaren vehicles, including the McLaren MCL36 F1 car, the race suits and helmets of renowned McLaren F1 drivers Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo, and the team uniforms of both the F1 team and the esports team.
