Background of BuidlerCon2023
We are in an era of explosive growth for public chains, with most public chains being EVM-compatible, focusing on scaling, cross-chain solutions, and lower Gas fees, aiming for higher, faster, and stronger performance around the Ethereum ecosystem.
In recent years, the Non-EVM ecosystem has also carved out its own path, continuously addressing the technical challenges that plague the EVM system with the support of star teams and capital, with Solana, Polkadot, Cardano, Near, and Ton leading the way, followed by Aptos, Sui, Fuel, and Lenera.

BuidlerCon 2023 is hosted by AC Capital and co-organized by Molecular Hub, BlockTides, Mesolabs, and GLITCH Global, aiming to promote communication among builders in the Non-EVM ecosystem and jointly explore the future development and market landscape of the Non-EVM field.
The Hong Kong SAR government places great importance on the development of financial technology, and this summit has also received special support from InvestHK, Hong Kong Science Park, and the Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association. King Leung, Head of the Financial Technology Department of the Hong Kong Investment Promotion Agency, along with Senior Manager Terry Chan and Icy Yau, attended the event as guests.

On July 26, the financial authorities of Hong Kong, over 20 industry leaders, more than 40 investment institutions, over 20 industry media, and more than 100 developer communities, along with frontline builders focusing on the Non-EVM ecosystem, gathered in Hong Kong to discuss hot topics such as the emergence of the Non-EVM ecosystem and its future potential, better addressing the challenges of implementing Non-EVM.
