BladeDAO is a decentralized on-chain gaming ecosystem based on zkSync Era, created by a group of crypto-native degen players. Its first self-developed medieval-themed idle dungeon game, Legends of Valoria (LOV), features both PvE and PvP gameplay and is set to launch in late June to early July this year.
On May 14, BladeDAO released 2,000 Free Mint genesis NFTs, which have already seen 958 transactions on Opensea, with a trading volume of 25 ETH and a floor price of 0.04 ETH (approximately 73 USD). NFT holders not only gain whitelist access for the upcoming IDO but will also receive a series of benefits in the upcoming LOV game and future releases.
BladeDAO plans to self-develop and co-release a series of crypto games with on-chain elements, utilizing zero-knowledge proofs (ZKP) to explore new frontiers in on-chain gaming. BladeDAO primarily employs zero-knowledge proof technology in the following areas: 1) achieving on-chain verifiable randomness; 2) hiding information; 3) creating novel game mechanics in a user-friendly manner.
Zero-Knowledge Proof Driven Gameplay
Season 1 PvE: Players dispatch units to embark on adventures, delve into dungeons, conquer monsters, and earn rewards.
Season 2 PvP: Players engage in competitive battles, applying buffs/debuffs and ambushing enemies in various dungeons. Resources and money can be plundered whether the ambush is successful or not.
Play to earn + Risk to earn: Plunder dungeons, upgrade units, mine $BLADE tokens, and compete for rankings and prizes. The PvP gameplay is powered by a homomorphic encryption-driven fog of war feature to provide an asymmetric competitive gaming experience.
Zero-knowledge proof driven gaming experience: Utilizing zero-knowledge proofs, homomorphic encryption, and validity proofs to verify randomness, hide information, and implement fog of war features.
Battle Pass NFT, NFT AMM
The genesis NFT Degenbook is free to mint on the Ethereum mainnet, with 958 transactions on Opensea, a trading volume of 25 ETH, and a floor price of 0.04 ETH (approximately 73 USD).
Other in-game units and resource NFTs will be minted using ERC-721 and ERC-1155 standards on zkSync Era. BladeDAO also plans to launch an ERC-1155 NFT AMM on zkSync in the third quarter in collaboration with development partners.
Token Economics
The $BLADE token economics draws from positive ecosystem loops like $vecrv, where $BLADE will serve as a utility token to enhance the revenue streams of every crypto game released on BladeDAO.
On the other hand, the NFT royalties and NFT AMM fees from each game will be captured by BladeDAO. This portion of revenue will be distributed as dividends to $veblade token holders. Additionally, $veblade token holders will enjoy priority whitelist access and airdrops for future game releases.
The $blade war is expected to occur across different games in the ecosystem, with each game bidding for more $veblade voting rights to bring more token emission rewards into their games. In turn, $veblade token holders will enjoy tax-like returns on all in-game economic activities.
