Following the successful launch of Testnet v1 with over 600,000 unique wallets, we launched Testnet Newton v2 a month ago. As we steadfastly move towards the mainnet release, we have been committed to bringing more and better things to our community. Therefore, we are excited to introduce the FOCG Summer Event.

Launching FOCG Summer

Since the Lattice team introduced the concepts of autonomous worlds and on-chain games, we have seen various games and AW being built on different infrastructures. However, user experience and scalability remain an issue. At 0G Labs, we have always believed that a modular AI blockchain and high-performance DA layer are the fertile ground needed for high-performance on-chain dApps (such as fully on-chain games) to thrive.

In the upcoming on-chain gaming event, we have invited several highly anticipated on-chain gaming partners to deploy and open game testing on the 0G Testnet. Leading participants in the zkVM and rollup space will support our tech stack and bring better and unprecedented gaming experiences.

Some of these games are powered by the trustless game engine zkUnity from Blade Games, which is the first modular ZK game engine that enables real-time gaming and trustless processing. zkUnity also integrates 0G Labs' high-performance DA layer for the storage and verification of on-chain ZK proofs.

This is one of the best opportunities to join the 0G Testnet, experience fun and engaging on-chain games, witness the practical application of high data availability in high data use cases, and explore cutting-edge blockchain technology.

Play Games, Share Content, Earn Rewards

Every participant in the FOCG Summer Event can earn points by playing games, joining Galxe tasks, and following other instructions in the points system.

Points can be used to earn tokens and other incentives from 0G Labs and our event partners, including Blade Games, Delphinus Lab, zkWasm, Project Mirage, and more.

The participation methods, guidelines, and rules of the points system for each game will be published in subsequent blog posts.
