LayerZero Popular Project Yield Farming Tutorial Summary

1: Interaction with Stargate Finance
Stargate Finance is the first project on LayerZero and currently the hottest yield farming interaction project. Become a DAO member of Stargate Finance to qualify for LayerZero airdrop.
- Purchase STG from any platform like Uniswap or Binance.

It is recommended to stake on ETH.
- Go to the Stargate Finance official staking site, connect your wallet, and stake STG tokens to gain Voting Power, view veSTG balance, and lock-up time.
- Visit the StargateDAO interface Snapshot, select "Join" on the left to participate in governance voting. Currently, all votes are closed; you can follow the official community and accounts for new voting updates.
- Use the Stargate bridge for cross-chain interactions once a day for five days. Perform cross-chain actions five times a month.
2: Testnet Interaction
What to do is interact with the ETH testnet Goerli and Avalanche. You don't need to spend your own money; first, go to the faucet to claim test tokens, once a day. On the official Circle cross-chain bridge testnet, you can find three faucet entries under the CONNECT button: Faucet USDC, Faucet ETH, and Faucet AVAX.
First, select the ETH network on the webpage, switch the MetaMask wallet to that network, then enter your wallet address, complete the CAPTCHA, and finally submit.

Registration for Avalanche is required, but we can go to Chainlink to claim tokens.
First, add the Avalanche chain to your MetaMask wallet, or directly add the wallet in Chainlink. The page will prompt that Ethereum mainnet is not supported, then provide the supported network information, which you can copy and paste to add in MetaMask.
Enter your wallet address, complete the CAPTCHA, and select Send Me.
Wait for the transfer to complete.
Open the URL, connect your MetaMask wallet, and click REQUEST 2 AVAX.
After success, click Add Subnet to Metamask, approve in the pop-up window, and allow network switching.
Once you reopen MetaMask, you will see the 2 AVAX test tokens you received.
If you cannot successfully add the Avalanche testnet in MetaMask during the above steps, you can go to Chainlist, connect your wallet, check Include Testnets, search for Fuji in the search box, select Avalanche Fuji Testnet after it appears, and then click Add to Metamask to confirm in your wallet.
- After claiming tokens, return to the Circle cross-chain bridge testnet, enter the amount for cross-chain interaction, click Transfer, and confirm in your wallet. Interact back and forth a few times daily to become an active user on the testnet. You need to interact for five natural days each month.
3: Interaction with RageTrade
RageTrade is an on-chain derivatives trading platform built on Arbitrum, also based on LayerZero. Its RAGE token is still in the testing phase, but interacting with RageTrade can also lay the groundwork for the ZRO token.
- For interaction contracts, currently, only ETH-USDC can be selected. After choosing Long/Short, click Swap to trade. Once the order is successful, you will see the position displayed at the bottom of the website.
4: Interaction with the Aptos Ecosystem
❗ Note: For interactions on the mainnet, you need to prepare APT as gas fees. It is recommended to withdraw tokens directly from centralized exchanges.
- On the Liquidswap website,
Buy some LQD tokens.
Then go to exchanges like Binance to buy some APT. In addition to MetaMask, you will also need to use a wallet from the ecosystem. There are three options, with Pontem being quite popular:
Switch MetaMask to the Arb mainnet, switch the Pontem wallet to the Mainnet, then go to the cross-chain bridge to connect the Pontem wallet and MetaMask wallet, enter the amount, and perform the cross-chain action.
Next, when performing a swap on Liquidswap to transfer tokens other than APT, you must first add that token in your wallet to transfer; otherwise, the page will display "Recipient can't accept your transfer because token is not registered on their account," and the transfer will fail. It is recommended to try with a small amount first to avoid asset issues.
If you want to try more, you can also provide liquidity on the Pools page. This step also requires connecting MetaMask and Pontem before performing cross-chain actions.
5: Interaction with AngleProtocol
AngleProtocol is also a LayerZero mainnet project, and the token is ANGLE. Due to policy reasons, Angle cannot be used in some regions, including the United States. If you have a habit of using VPNs, turn off the VPN tool first; otherwise, the webpage may not display correctly.
Link your MetaMask wallet in the left menu bar. Since you need the Euro stablecoin agEUR to use the Bridge, first exchange any token for some agEUR using the Swap function, then select Bridge to cross agEUR to other chains and back, and use the swap function to exchange back to the original token.
6: Other Protocols for Cross-Chain Interaction
- Hashflow (HFT) cross to the Arbitrum chain.
This is relatively simple; first, switch your MetaMask wallet to the Arb network, then go to the website, use a small amount to swap ETH for USDC or USDT, and after completing, wait a while before swapping back. There is a step to unlock (Unlock) before swapping back.
- MugenFinance (MGN token, currently has Deposit and Stake gameplay. First, switch MetaMask to the Arb network and connect to interact with USDC.)
- TraderJoe (JOE token, the official website changes based on the chain, for example, Arbitrum, Avalanche. After linking your MetaMask wallet, swap a certain amount of ETH or USDC for the platform token JOE, then select the Bridge function in the top menu to cross assets between Arb and Avalanche.)
- xSwap (A cross-chain swap application based on L0 under SushiSwap)
- Lending platform tapioca_dao, the MINT function beta test has been temporarily suspended and is not available for use; you can try BORROW and LEND.
The above projects are recommended in order of appearance. Buy tokens where available, interact three times a month, with each interaction around $10.
