The ETHDenver 2023 conference has reached its conclusion, and the official announcement has just been made regarding the 18 projects selected for BUIDLWeek by the judging panel. The panel selected 3 projects each in the categories of DeFi, DAO, public goods, and NFT metaverse, while infrastructure projects were the largest category with 6 projects selected. Based on the project list shared by Mike Stepanovic from The New York Times, BlockBeats has compiled a brief overview of these 18 projects as follows.

From the selected projects, it is evident that the crypto and Web3 sectors are focusing on attracting more users from outside the industry through ease of use in finance, gaming, and the metaverse. Although the innovative aspects of the selected projects are not very clear, they still reflect the direction of the crypto world and the narrative thread for the next bull market in the foreseeable future.
