From September 26 to September 28, the first Web3 hackathon competition in Japan, "TWSH," initiated by Cryptogram Venture (CGV), successfully concluded its online roadshow. A total of 36 project teams from Japan, the United States, Singapore, China, India, and other regions, along with representatives from over 30 professional investment and research institutions in the Web3 and cryptocurrency fields, participated in this roadshow.

In the subsequent project presentation session, the 36 project teams introduced their respective project situations and business features, focusing on industry highlights related to the Web3 ecosystem panorama, Web3 protocols and infrastructure, Metaverse, Game, NFT, and actively interacted with the judges to discuss practical exploration insights in various Web3 tracks.

On September 30, CGV organized an offline meetup event for the Japan Web3 Hackathon (TWSH) in Tokyo, inviting some judges from the competition's review committee and professionals in the Japanese Web3 and cryptocurrency fields. Judges and guests such as Kazutaka Matsuda, Naoaki Yamanaka, Kazumasa Miyazawa, and Yoshiyuki Yamada engaged in lively discussions on topics such as the prospects of Web3 in Japan and the unique opportunities in the Japanese Web3 market, sharing insights and discussing collaboration visions.

According to the unified arrangement of the event organizing committee, the final list of award winners for the competition is expected to be announced in mid-October. The winners will share the prize pool, and some favored projects will also receive investments from investment institutions and support from local resources in Japan. Meanwhile, the TOP 18 projects will be invited to enter the VIP channel of the "Tokyo Web3 Sakura Summit," scheduled to be held in March 2023.
